Notice Regarding PayPal Transfers

Dear WEH and TvK,

this year, our associations tax return is due, and our PayPal account requires the updated proof of charitable status for our registered association by May 12, 2026.

Unfortunately, it appears rather unlikely that WEH e.V. will be able to provide this documentation by that date. We therefore wanted to give you an early and precautionary notice that, from May 12, 2026 onward, it will most likely no longer be possible to top up your WEH account via PayPal, and that bank transfer will temporarily remain the only available option.

The tax return is expected to be completed sometime this summer, so this situation should not be permanent. Still, if bank transfer is not a practical option for you and PayPal is your preferred or sole means of payment, I would warmly advise you to act with foresight and top up your WEH account generously already now, so that you will continue to have sufficient funds available when needed.

Liebes WEH und TvK,

in diesem Jahr steht die Steuererklärung unseres Vereins an und unser PayPal-Account benötigt bis zum 12.05.2026 einen aktualisierten Nachweis der Gemeinnützigkeit.

Nach aktuellem Stand ist davon auszugehen, dass der WEH e.V. diesen Nachweis bis zu diesem Datum voraussichtlich noch nicht vorlegen kann. Daher möchten wir euch frühzeitig darüber informieren, dass es ab dem 12.05.2026 voraussichtlich vorübergehend nicht mehr möglich sein wird, euer WEH-Konto via PayPal aufzuladen. In diesem Zeitraum wird eine Aufladung nur noch per Banküberweisung möglich sein.

Die Steuererklärung wird voraussichtlich im Laufe des Sommers abgeschlossen, sodass diese Einschränkung wohl nicht dauerhaft bestehen wird.

Falls für euch ausschließlich oder bevorzugt PayPal als Zahlungsmöglichkeit in Frage kommt, empfehlen wir euch daher, euer WEH-Konto vorsorglich bereits im Voraus ausreichend aufzuladen, damit auch während dieses Zeitraums jederzeit genügend Guthaben verfügbar ist.
